Leading and orchestrating marketing, strategy and comms, we help achieve our ambition to help everyone enjoy amazing technology.As Senior Marketing Planning Manager, you’ll drive the strategic direction of our marketing organisation. You’ll own end‑to‑end planning, coordination and delivery of world‑class marketing campaigns across advertising, social, influencer, PR, Creative, Content & CRM, stepping‑changing customer perceptions, growing CLV and delivering major commercial value. Acting as a key connector between leadership and execution teams, you’ll oversee annual and quarterly planning, budget management and performance measurement to maximize ROI. You’ll also lead multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of detail throughout the entire process. You’ll ensure resources are invested effectively to deliver both immediate results and long‑term brand value.Key ResponsibilitiesOrchestrate functional experts to drive collaboration and deliver world‑class marketing plans, influencing and framing strategic/executional marketing plans across central squads.Own briefs: engage, energise and coach your team and category squads on inspiring customer‑centric, commercially effective briefs to functional specialists.Own execution: work with specialists to ensure plans are brief‑aligned and high‑quality; champion Currys brand principles throughout all customer touchpoints.Own budget: navigate cross‑channel budgets, negotiate discussions with senior stakeholders, using data and metrics to inform business cases and decisions.Own process: champion and maintain marketing processes, respect channel processes, optimise processes for all stakeholders and deliver effectively while maintaining team morale and quality plans.Own supplier‑facing marketing conversations: represent all Currys marketing channels, brand and marketing metrics.Own storytelling: ensure internal stakeholders up to executive level understand and buy into our launches and impact.Coach, develop and mentor: manage and develop a team of four marketing planning managers, supporting delivery and ensuring a pipeline of top talent.Required Skills & ExperienceLead and energise teams to deliver excellent results.Process a multitude of campaigns, principles, budgets, category and marcomms strategy to inform decisions.Communicate marketing strategy, plans and rationale clearly to director and CCO level.Balance multiple KPIs and orchestrate campaigns across marketing, customer, commercial squads and suppliers.Extensive stakeholder management experience at peer level, up to director level.Head for numbers and translate complex quarterly and campaign budget data simply for marketing decision making.Robust commercial acumen and understanding of supplier relationships and their impact on a retailer’s marketing.Manage multiple complex projects at once, meeting milestones and communicating updates to director and CCO level.Benefits25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)Private Medical InsuranceLife AssuranceFantastic colleague discounts on Tech with Currys and iD MobileHybrid working: meet in person 2–4 times per monthJoin our team and we’ll be with you every step of the way, helping you develop the career you want with new opportunities, on‑going training and skills for life.Every voice has a space at our table and we’re committed to making inclusion and diversity part of everything we do.
