This is a rare opportunity to craft marketing campaigns that champion access to justice and create meaningful change in people’s lives. The team works at pace, delivering highly competitive acquisition campaigns, while balancing targets with strong brand recognition.In this pivotal role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, owning the end-to-end marketing planning process—from identifying opportunities and setting objectives to executing campaigns and analysing performance. You’ll manage a small team, collaborate with internal and external partners, and ensure all marketing activity aligns with our brand and values.ResponsibilitiesAct as a marketing business partner with the Employment department, owning the strategic marketing planning process, identifying marketing objectives, proposing campaigns and tactics to deliver against them, and overseeing their implementation.Be an ambassador for the Marketing function within Leigh Day with partners and fee earners.Lead and build a high-performing team and collaborate effectively with internal specialist teams including eCRM, digital and press.Please see attached JD for full details on the role responsibilities.Essential ExperienceGenuine interest to work with a leading claimant law firm and passionate about providing access to justice to all.Good knowledge and hands-on experience of paid social and paid search advertising tools.Solid relevant experience in marketing and communications management, from either in-house or agency, or demonstrable marketing experience to at least a senior executive level.Analytical and data savvy.Substantial experience of independently managing marketing projects from conception to execution on tight deadlines.Experience in working with and building strong internal relationships with Partners and senior stakeholders.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience with CRM and E-marketing software systems.Experience generating marketing reports and analysis using Excel and other tools.Experience managing digital marketing and social media campaigns.MS Office proficiency (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook), HTML & CMS platforms.Excellent copywriting abilities.Desirable ExperienceExperience of working within a legal firm is advantageous.Experience creating marketing plans and proposals for partnership consideration.Experience managing external agencies.Understanding of a broad range of marketing channels.About Leigh DayWe are a top 100 law firm committed to claimant-only cases, ensuring that individuals have access to justice on par with the UK Government and large corporations.
