This is a role with real potential to evolve and expand.What you'll be doing:Leading the day-to-day management of our ecommerce platformsDriving online sales through smart merchandising, promotions, and UX improvementsAnalysing performance data to uncover insights and opportunitiesCollaborating on digital marketing campaigns and SEO strategiesEnhancing the customer journey from first click to final checkoutWhat we're looking for:Proven experience in ecommerce management (B2C or D2C preferred)Strong commercial acumen and a love for dataA creative mindset with a passion for customer experienceHands-on experience with ecommerce platforms (e.g. Adobe Commerce, Shopify, WooCommerce etc.)A proactive, can-do attitude and a desire to grow with the businessIf you have significant experience in growing an ecommerce business, are commercially savvy, able to work in a culture of continuous improvement, are a creative type, love change and like to be busy, then we would love to hear from you.This is a brand leadership role in our ecommerce team, working with and reporting directly to theGroup Ecommerce and Digital Manager, a small team of specialists who work closely together to drive business growth.This unique role offersvaried and challenging work with huge scope to develop Lawnsmith’s digital strategy and drive its success.We value the collaboration, energy, and connection that face-to-face working brings, while still supporting flexibility.This role is office based with the option to work from home one day a week after a probationary period.Key responsibilities:Develop and deliver a comprehensive end-to-end ecommerce growth strategyDrive profitable growth for Lawnsmith while supporting wider group objectivesBe hands-on: balancing strategy with execution, with some support from colleagues and agency resourcesOptimise customer journeys through UX and CRO, using insight-driven improvementsMaximise multi-channel sales growth across SEO, PPC, paid social, email, and emerging platformsManage, scale, and where appropriate launch ecommerce marketplacesAdopt a data-led approach, producing analytical reports that drive strategic insightsIdentify, implement, and manage business intelligence tools for advanced reportingCoordinate closely with our team and provide cross brand support, collaboration is key within our business, while you will be the key driver of your primary brand you will also provide and receive support to all our brandsDevelop and manage customer acquisition and retention strategies to drive quality traffic, sales, brand awareness and build loyaltyManagemarketing budgets effectively to deliver strong ROASOversee website merchandising to ensure intuitive navigation and seamless transactionsContribute to customer service support during peak periods, ensuring all team members stay connected with customers and provide additional support during peak trading periodsAdhere to company policies and procedures, including Equal Opportunities and Harassment PolicyTo perform any other duties as may reasonably be required from time-to-timeYou must be able demonstrate:We don’t need you to be an expert on everything, but these are the must haves:At least 4 years’ experience working within an ecommerce brand where the data proves growthMinimum 2 years in management or leadership role within ecommerceEcommerce and digital marketing expertise, ability to demonstrate expertise in at least three key areas including but not limited to;Content creation, Email marketing, SEO, PPC,Influencer Marketing, Social media marketing (organic and paid),CRO and UXA professional, self-motivated individual who thrives in fast-paced and high-pressure environmentsProactive and resourceful, with strong problem-solving skillsClear and confident communicator, both verbally and in writingHighly organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlinesMeticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all workCurious and passionate about continuous learning, staying up to date with the latest digital marketing trendsAnalytically minded, able to interpret data and produce insightful reportsCreative thinker who can translate brand identity into engaging digital contentIt would be nice if you had:Alongside the core skills and experience, there are a few qualities that we know help people thrive in our business.
