OverviewSenior Marketing Manager - Legacies at Age UK. Hybrid / London. Permanent contract. 35 hours per week.ResponsibilitiesDrive and deliver multi-channel legacy acquisition and supporter journey strategies.Develop cross-sell opportunities across Age UK's warm and future audiences to increase legacy pledges.Lead a small team, oversee budgets, KPIs, and campaign performance.Embed the new Income Generation Strategy across all audiences and communications.Ensure excellent supporter care and efficient legacy enquiry management.Manage key stakeholder, agency, and supplier relationships. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance supporter engagement while maintaining Age UK brand values and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (Fundraising Regulator, ICO, DMA, Charity Commission).Contribute to a high-profile programme powering Age UK’s vital work with older people across the UK.Requirements / SkillsSignificant experience in strategic planning and implementation of legacy marketing programmes, including robust financial management and new legacy marketing products and channels.Experience driving multi-channel direct marketing acquisition campaigns and supporter retention programmes for mass public fundraising audiences.Experience of line management, performance management and building high-performing teams.Experience negotiating contracts and managing agencies.Experience commissioning and interpreting data across DR, print and digital media to report on DM campaigns and inform planning.Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects with internal and external stakeholders.Self-starter with numeracy skills and the ability to translate analysis into action.Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and experience with databases for reporting and data strategies.Excellent knowledge of the UK legacy giving and mass fundraising landscape.Ability to communicate, influence and collaborate with people at all levels.Nice to haveIDM diploma or alternative recognised marketing qualification is desirable.Genuine passion and interest in the work of Age UK and inclusive work for older people.What we offerCompetitive salary, 26 days annual leave + bank holidays + annual leave purchase schemeWellbeing days – 2 paid days per year (pro rata for part-time colleagues)Excellent pension scheme, life assurance, Bupa health cashback plan and EAPHome & Tech purchase options up to £1,000, with 12-month interest-free paymentYou Did It Awards – recognition awards from £100-£250Additional InformationThis is a London-hybrid position with colleagues in the Fundraising Division required to attend the London office at least once a week, typically Thursdays.
