Role: Marketing ManagerLocation: Bedford College - Cauldwell Street CampusSalary/Benefits: Salary between £39,697 and £46,349 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, People’s pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, access to college courses.Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week - 52 weeks per yearContract Type: Permanent - Full TimeAbout the roleWe are currently seeking a Marketing Manager to join our Marketing and Digital department at The Bedford College Group.As a Marketing Manager, you play an important role in the success of our students through:Strategic Campaign Leadership - Design and deliver targeted acquisition and conversion campaigns using CRM systems, ensuring alignment with recruitment goals and strategic objectives.Content & Collateral Management - Lead production of marketing materials including prospectuses, social media content, and external listings, ensuring brand consistency and engaging storytelling.Stakeholder Engagement - Act as a marketing partner to curriculum teams, building strong relationships and delivering agency-style support to promote student experience and drive recruitment.Team & Budget Oversight - Manage direct reports, monitor performance, allocate resources, and oversee budgets to meet marketing and business objectives across the Group.Compliance & Representation - Uphold safeguarding, EDI, and health & safety standards, represent the department at events and meetings, and deputise for senior leadership when required.About youQualifications & Development - Degree in business/marketing or equivalent, evidence of CPD, and willingness to continually update skills and knowledge.Marketing Expertise - Proven success in delivering impactful campaigns, content creation, digital marketing (including CRM and paid ads), and budget/project management.Leadership & Collaboration - Experience managing staff and building strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.Communication & Organisation - Excellent written and verbal communication, strong judgement, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.Flexibility & Mobility - Willingness to work outside normal hours, travel independently across campuses and events, and align with organisational values and policies.For a more detailed breakdown of the job role and the requirements, please see the Job Description attached to this vacancy.Interviews to be held: TBCSafeguarding our StudentsThe Bedford College Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
