Head of Marketing (FTC)

As part of this successful and growth driven, global manufacturing organisation, the business now requires a Head of Marketing to join their team, who will be responsible for leading the talented and driven team of marketers in driving forward key product launches and the next wave of brand development.
The successful candidate will be engaged on a fixed term contract basis for up to 12 months.
This role has hybrid/ flexible working arrangements as well as a highly attractive compensation and benefits package.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, as the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- supporting and championing the development of the marketing team across strategy creation and tracking, VOC consideration, global thinking and campaign performance measurement
- collaborating with the Product Management Team to deliver new products to market
- developing marketing communications in key markets
- driving forward and implementing a global social media strategy
- continuing to improve tracking and measurement of digital activity
- co-ordinating strategy for key global events, focusing on purpose, tracking and the surrounding campaigns
- co-ordinating training strategy and stakeholder management to ensure effective activation
- leading the PR strategy and planning, to compliment thought leadership and drive the vision to be the partner of choice in target markets
- supporting the evolution of brand guidelines and champion fresh thinking in creative execution and channel selection
As the Head of Marketing you will be required to operate at a strategic level in order to advise, implement and influence at all levels throughout the business.
The Candidate
Ideally of graduate standard, preferably from within a commercial, marketing or communications based discipline, candidates for the Head of Marketing role will preferably also have achieved or be working towards their further CIM (or equivalent) qualifications.
Candidates for the role will also be required to demonstrate that they have:
- previous work experience in a same or similar marketing-based role
- experience managing marketing budgets, providing ROI data and concise and accurate reporting on activity
- the ability to plan and execute marketing strategy within a complex or multi-national organisation
- experience of strategic content marketing, evidencing delivery against agreed strategy
- previous experience of software packages such as Adobe Suite, CRM and MDM software
- experience of working within a customer focused environment
- excellent copywriting and proof reading skills, with good media relations skills
Candidates for the Head of Marketing role should also have:
- proven stakeholder management abilities with strategic thinking skills
- excellent communication skills and the ability to be flexible in a challenging environment
- the capability to be a hands-on type individual, who demonstrates initiative with a positive and professional outlook
- the ability to work effectively within a team but also under their own initiative, demonstrating that they are an organised and capable individual, used to multi-tasking and can prioritise their workload in order to meet exacting deadlines
- the ability to be commercially astute, analytical and results driven with a strong commitment to success and excellence
- the capacity to be a strong, capable leader, with the presence to motivate and influence across all levels of the business
