Role overview

Head of Brand Marketing at Ffern – senior leader responsible for executing our brand strategy across PR, content and social media. Lead and mentor the teams, ensuring they are best in class, driving both deep brand love and reach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive brand marketing strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives.
  • Lead and manage the PR, Social Media, and (organic) Content teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Ensuring teams are truly best-in-class.
  • Deeply understand the Ffern brand, creating and owning our brand book that captures our Creative Director’s brand vision and is the source of truth for the business.
  • Contribute to the operational management of seasonal campaigns to ensure all deliverables are met with sufficient time to consistently deliver excellence.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximise brand impact.
  • Monitor and analyse performance, providing regular reports and insights.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in brand management, PR, social media, and content.
  • Critically evaluate existing brand strategies and initiatives, challenging the status quo and championing new approaches to drive brand growth and impact.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a brand leadership role within a consumer-facing business.
  • A strong academic background (top-tier Russell Group or equivalent is preferred).
  • Well-organised and operational brand marketing leader with a strong analytical aptitude and a drive for innovation.
  • You possess a creative flair and the ability to deeply understand and articulate a brand's unique identity.
  • You have experience leading and inspiring marketing teams (PR, Social Media, Content) with strong expertise in those areas.
  • You are adept at translating brand vision into tangible and impactful initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement and evolution.
  • You are a strong communicator and collaborator, with the ability to inspire and influence teams to embrace new ideas.
