Job Function

This role is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of best-in-class Brand and Attendance Marketing campaigns to support commercial objectives. The Brand Marketing Executive will play a key role across all aspects of the campaign process, from planning and strategy through to execution, optimisation and analysis. The role also involves administrative support, cross-functional collaboration, content creation assistance, and agility to work across a wide range of briefs and projects.

Role Overview

  • Development and execution of Brand Marketing activations to elevate the CFC brand and grow audiences
  • Work with creative studio on development of CFC brand guidelines
  • Manage relationships with external digital publishers to expand coverage of CFC brand and players
  • Manage projects to elevate CFC key footballing and non-footballing calendar moments
  • Regularly update key stakeholders on brand performance, including campaign reporting
  • Support on creative ideation and campaign development, from pre-production through to delivery
  • Assist with kit launches, merchandise drops, and brand moments
  • Support campaigns involving influencers and celebrities to amplify reach and engagement
  • Assist in briefing and coordinating content creation (social, digital, video) with creative teams
  • Maintain and develop key internal relationships (e.g. Paid Media Team, CRM Team, Digital Platforms, Communications Team, Creative Team, Insights Team, Chelsea TV)
  • Provide administrative support for campaigns, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination
  • Support the Brand Marketing Manager and Lead with budget management, specifically by managing purchase orders and invoices
  • Assist in event delivery, including fan activations, matchday marketing and brand experiences
  • Given the nature of football, support may be required outside of traditional working hours to capitalise on key moments such as matchdays and transfer windows

Specific Responsibilities

  • Brand Guidelines: Assist in briefing and roll-out of CFC brand guidelines to ensure all creative assets are delivered consistently and in line with guidelines
  • Key Moment Project Management: Support campaign ideation and execution to elevate key moments across the season-long calendar
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the club to ensure campaign delivery is integrated and aligned
  • Campaign Reporting: Develop reporting infrastructure with the internal Insights team to analyse, evaluate and optimise performance
  • Administrative Support: Ensure campaign files, approvals, and documentation are well organised and maintained
  • Trend Monitoring: Track cultural, sporting, and marketing trends to help inform campaign direction and creative execution

Person Specification

  • Demonstrable experience in marketing, brand, agency or a related creative field (internships and placements considered)
  • Strong understanding of core marketing principles and best practices
  • Some experience supporting or delivering integrated campaigns across digital, social, and physical channels
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Creative thinker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working across multiple briefs at once, from kit launches to influencer activations
  • Interest in football, culture, and creativity, with an eye for spotting new trends and opportunities
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) in marketing, business, communications, or a creative discipline
  • A true team player who brings positive energy, collaboration, and curiosity
