OverviewAs a Marketing Analytics Specialist, you will sit within the revenue marketing team and be instrumental in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and enhance marketing effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to harness data-driven insights. The team operates as the nerve centre for shaping our marketing strategies. Your primary responsibility in this role will involve analysing vast datasets to extract actionable insights to understand performance and to formulate and optimise marketing campaigns, supporting Checkout.com in achieving sustainable business growth.What you’ll doAnalyse and interpret marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for strategic marketing initiativesWork closely with Marketing teams to drive data-driven decision-making, presenting insights and recommendations to support marketing strategies and investment allocationDevelop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for marketing campaigns and initiativesExamine internal payments data to identify market and customer trends to inform marketing strategiesProactively identify areas for improvement in data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to enhance performance, in collaboration with Checkout’s Data Analytics teamProvide ad-hoc analysis and insights to address immediate business needs and opportunitiesWhat we’re looking forExperience in Data AnalyticsKnowledge of ETL processes, tools, databases and BI platforms, including SQLExperience with Looker models and creation of Explores, Views and DashboardsStrong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills, including the ability to produce clear reports and analysisAbility to translate data into insight and articulate business implicationsExcellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholdersAttention to detail with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environmentPreferable knowledge of the marketing data domain or comparable commercial functionBring all of you to workWe create the conditions for high performers to thrive – through real ownership, fewer blockers, and work that makes a difference from day one.
