As a Marketing Analytics Specialist, you will sit within the revenue marketing team and be instrumental in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and enhance marketing effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to harness data-driven insights. The team operates as the nerve centre for shaping our marketing strategies. Your primary responsibility in this role will involve analysing vast datasets to extract actionable insights. Your insights help us better understand performance as well as enable us to formulate and optimise marketing campaigns. Your role crucially supports Checkout.com in achieving sustainable business growth.
How you'll make an impact:
Analyse and interpret marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for strategic marketing initiatives
Work closely with Marketing teams to drive data-driven decision-making, by presenting insights and recommendations to support marketing strategies and investment allocation
Develop and maintain dashboards, and reports that provide actionable insights for marketing campaigns and initiatives
Examine internal payments data to identify market and customer trends to inform marketing strategies
Proactively identify areas for improvement in data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to enhance performance, in collaboration with Checkout's Data Analytics team
Support the team by providing ad-hoc analysis and insights to address immediate business needs and opportunities
What we're looking for:
Experience in Data Analytics
Knowledge of ETL processes, associated tools, databases and BI platforms, including knowledge of SQL
Experience working with Looker Models and creation of Explores, Views and Dashboards
Strong Excel and/or GoogleSheets skills, including an ability to produce clear reports and analysis
Ability to translate data into insight and articulate business implications
Excellent communication skills and an ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
Attention to detail with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferable knowledge of the marketing data domain or comparable commercial function
Bring all of you to work
We create the conditions for high performers to thrive - through real ownership, fewer blockers, and work that makes a difference from day one.
Here, you'll move fast, take on meaningful challenges, and be recognized for the impact you deliver. It's a place where ambition gets met with opportunity - and where your growth is in your hands.
We work as one team, and we back each other to succeed. So whatever your background or identity, if you're ready to grow and make a difference, you'll be right at home here.
It's important we set you up for success and make our process as accessible as possible. So let us know in your application, or tell your recruiter directly, if you need anything to make your experience or working environment more comfortable.
