About the Role

The Senior Marketing coordinator for EC Markets will lead the strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives to support the successful pre-launch and launch of trading products and services in the UK. This role will oversee digital and content marketing, website management, social media channels, and the management of junior/coordinator-level marketing staff, ensuring brand consistency and effective market penetration.

Responsibilities

Pre-Launch and Launch Campaigns

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns for new product launches tailored to EC Markets in the UK.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts with product, IT, and operations teams to align marketing strategies with new release calendar.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimise to maximise reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Use analytics to monitor and optimise client journey around our trading platform.

Website Management

  • Lead the development and maintenance of the EC Markets website ensuring content is timely, accurate, regulatory compliant, and engaging.
  • Manage relationships with external web developers and internal IT teams to ensure a seamless user experience and effective analytics.

Content Creation (Video & Articles)

  • Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality video content and written articles that educate, engage, and promote the brand and products.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure alignment with marketing campaigns, brand values, and compliance requirements.

Social Media Management

  • Strategically manage all social media platforms for EC Markets, ensuring consistent brand voice, compliance with FCA guidelines, and active audience engagement.
  • Use analytics tools to track performance, adapt strategies, and propose innovative ways to enhance social presence.

Team Leadership and Management

  • Manage and mentor coordinator level marketing staff, setting clear objectives, supporting their development, and conducting performance appraisals.
  • Foster a collaborative and proactive team environment focused on achieving marketing KPIs and business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Marketing degree, professional marketing qualifications (e.g., CIM), or equivalent experience.
  • Additional certifications in digital marketing or content strategy are advantageous.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing leadership roles within financial services or similar regulated industries in the UK.
  • Strong track record of successfully managing pre-launch and launch campaigns in complex market environments.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, website content management, video production, and social media strategy.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities with experience guiding junior staff.
  • Knowledge of FCA compliance and marketing regulations for financial products/services.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics, CRM platforms, CMS tools, and social media management software.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Additional certifications in digital marketing or content strategy are advantageous.
