Overview

An independent trade book publishing company seeks a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to lead its fiction marketing, with a focus on social media and digital marketing campaigns. This is a full-time, permanent role based in central London with hybrid working (minimum three office days per week). Salary: £45k.

This is a great opportunity to join a successful and growing publisher with a strong list of commercial fiction. You’ll play a key part in increasing the visibility of authors and books online, building the company’s profile across digital platforms, and running imaginative campaigns that connect with readers. You’ll plan and deliver campaigns that increase visibility of the company’s books, reach new readers through targeted digital marketing activity, and support online and high street sales. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, you’ll oversee the company’s social media activity across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other platforms. This will include scheduling posts, commissioning and producing content, monitoring campaign performance, and responding to interactions to maintain an active online presence for authors and the company’s brand.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver digital marketing campaigns to increase book visibility and reach new readers.
  • Manage social media across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other platforms, including scheduling posts and engaging with audiences.
  • Create digital assets (videos and graphics) and work with influencers and book bloggers to extend campaign reach.
  • Prepare toolkits and digital materials for international partners; support trade marketing by producing campaign resources for retailers.
  • Monitor campaign performance using analytics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain an active online presence for authors and the brand.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure cohesive campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in digital marketing with a strong knowledge of social media platforms and trends.
  • Experience creating and managing content calendars.
  • Strong analytics to guide strategy and measure results.
  • Strong copywriting skills and excellent organisation.
  • Experience managing influencer activity.
