OverviewStagecoach Group Limited is seeking a proactive and creative PR & Communications Manager to lead internal and external communications across our Operating Companies in the Midlands, West and Wales. This is a full-time role to drive positive press coverage, connect with communities, support internal culture, and engage key stakeholders — influencing how people see and experience Stagecoach.Position and locationRegional PR & Communications ManagerFlexible location (based within the Midlands, West or Wales)Full-timeSalary: £40,000 per annum + Car AllowanceWhat you’ll be doingDelivering regional PR strategies aligned to commercial goals and customer focus.Supporting, delivering and maximising involvement with local and / or national partnerships for your Operating Companies.Leading press office activity, drafting press releases, handling enquiries, and responding to incidents.Building and nurturing strong media and stakeholder relationships.Supporting national campaigns with a local voice and impact.Managing internal communication across your Operating Companies including supporting local management teams and cascading news from central support functions and the wider organisation group via Blink and additional channels.Amplifying community and charity engagement to enhance our local presence.Supporting stakeholder relationships with clear, aligned communications.Working closely with Managing Directors and regional leadership to tell a powerful, consistent story.What you'll bringA strong background in PR, communications, or media relations.Proven track record delivering commercial, customer sentiment and people engagement results through similar work.Proven experience changing perception through a multi-year evolving narrative through comms and PR Budget management.Media training and experience in crisis communications.Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.A confident, collaborative approach to managing multiple stakeholders.Curiosity for local markets and a passion for public transport.Strategic thinking combined with hands-on delivery.Exceptional communication and relationship building skills, capable of generating confidence in any given audience.Excellent project management, capable of delivering multi projects at the same time.Event management experience and a talent for creating meaningful connections.BenefitsAnnual Discretionary Bonus Scheme (up to 10% of salary)Defined Contribution pension scheme with employer contributions of up to 6%A Stagecoach bus travel pass for you and a companionAccess to a wide range of retail and leisure discountsReady to help us raise the bar?Apply today and be part of something brilliant.Stagecoach is proudly an inclusive employer, striving for a culture where everyone can be themselves and where all the differences people bring are truly appreciated.
