Performance Marketing Manager – Growth Team

At ROLI, we’re making music creation more accessible than ever. As our Performance Marketing Manager, you’ll be at the heart of driving growth, leading paid campaigns across Social, Search, and Display, and helping shape how new music makers around the world discover and engage with ROLI.

About Us

At ROLI, we believe music lives inside everyone - it’s a universal right. Our mission is simple: to create tools that turn all humans into music makers. From the groundbreaking Seaboard to our latest ROLI Piano and Airwave, we design intuitive instruments and technologies that make music creation more expressive, accessible, and inspiring.

We’re a team of musicians, engineers, coders, researchers, and creatives of every background, united by a passion for learning, innovation, and collaboration. What we share is a drive to free the music - to empower people everywhere to connect with themselves and with others through sound.

At ROLI, this is more than work - it’s a chance to unlock the music inside everyone and transform creativity worldwide.

Your Purpose

You’ll own and optimise digital campaigns that fuel ROLI’s growth, from paid social to search and display. By combining performance expertise with creativity, you’ll scale acquisition, conversion, and retention, ensuring every pound spent drives measurable impact for the business.

Your Responsibilities

You plan, execute, and optimise multi-channel paid campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, Microsoft Ads, and beyond.

You manage budgets, monitor performance, and maximise ROI against growth targets.

You analyse KPIs, run A/B tests, and translate insights into clear, actionable reports.

You collaborate with creative teams to develop high-performing ad copy and visuals.

You manage and maintain our paid creative asset library, ensuring a steady pipeline of effective content.

You stay ahead of platform updates, trends, and opportunities to keep campaigns fresh and competitive.

You align paid activity with broader marketing and business goals, collaborating across Content, Creative, Comms, and Product.

Who We’re Looking For

You have 4 - 5 years of commercial experience in D2C or ecommerce marketing, ideally in a fast-paced, startup or scale-up environment.

You bring expert knowledge of paid media platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.) and a proven track record of scaling Paid Social and Paid Search.

You’ve managed large paid budgets (7 figures annually) with strong results.

You understand marketing funnels, attribution, and customer journeys, and know how to apply them in practice.

You’re hands-on, data-driven, and collaborative, with a knack for problem-solving and creative thinking.

You have strong communication skills and enjoy working cross-functionally to make campaigns shine.

It’s music to our ears if:

You’ve worked agency-side and want to make the move client-side.

You have experience in emerging platforms like Snapchat, Reddit, or Pinterest.

You’re comfortable with SEO, CRO, and web analytics (GA4).

You hold Google Ads / Analytics or META Blueprint certifications.

You’re passionate about music, creativity, or music technology.

Your Impact

You’ll know you’re succeeding when:

Paid campaigns consistently deliver acquisition and conversion targets.

ROI improves through smart testing, optimisation, and budget allocation.

Ad creative performance scales through collaboration with content and creative teams.

You’re recognised as the go-to expert for performance marketing and a driver of ROLI’s growth story.

Life at ROLI

This role comes with a competitive salary and a range of benefits designed to support your health, well-being, and creativity, including a healthcare cash plan, pension scheme, volunteering days, Bike2Work, access to trained counsellors, hack days, yoga classes and a product lending library. You’ll also enjoy regular social events, from summer and end-of-year parties to team outings.

We embrace hybrid working, with three days in the office (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday), giving you the flexibility to balance collaboration and focus time. And because we know great work needs great fuel, you’ll enjoy freshly made smoothies, breakfast pastries, and vegan lunches during the week!
