These software solutions help deliver more efficient, safer, and better-maintained transport systems in the UK and around the world.We’re growing and evolving – and we’re now looking for a talented Marketing Manager to join our team at this exciting stage in our journey.The RoleAs Marketing Manager for TRL Software, you will play a key role in raising the profile of our software products and services, supporting business growth through targeted campaigns, compelling content, and strategic communications. You will report to the Marketing Director and work closely with the sales (specifically the iROADS & UTC Sales Leads) and product teams.This is a hands-on role, requiring both strategic thinking and practical delivery. With a strong emphasis on lead generation, you will be responsible for planning and executing marketing activity that drives awareness and generates leads, whilst strengthening TRL Software’s position in the UK and international marketplace.The successful candidate can be based UK wide with some travel expected.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver multi-channel marketing plans for TRL Software’s product portfolio.Create and implement a lead generation programme with a focus on Market Qualified Leads (MQLs).Create compelling content for use across digital channels, campaigns, and sales materials to support lead generation.Plan and manage lead generation campaigns including email, digital advertising, events and webinars.Develop product positioning and messaging in collaboration with the marketing, product management and sales team.Manage and maintain relevant areas of the TRL Software website, ensuring content is up to date and optimised for search.Track and report on campaign performance, using data to inform decisions and continuously improve outcomes and its effectiveness in supporting the lead generation programme.Work with external agencies (e.g. design and web development)Oversee the planning and delivery of events such as user groups and activity at industry conferences, to support brand visibility and lead generation, managing logistics, budgets, and stakeholder coordination.Support the creation of case studies, customer testimonials and thought leadership content.Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity within the transport and SaaS sectors.Essential Skills and ExperienceProven experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally within software or technologyProven and demonstrable experience in implementing a lead generation programme with emphasis on MQLsStrong copywriting and content creation skillsExperience delivering digital marketing campaigns, including email and social mediaConfidencemanaging websites and using Content Management Systems (CMS)Analytical mindset, comfortable using data and tools like Google Analytics and CRM platformsAbility to manage multiple projects and stakeholders with strong attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skillsDesirableExperience marketing software solutions in sectors such as transport, infrastructure or public sectorFamiliarity with marketing automation tools and/or SalesforceKnowledge of SEOExperience supporting brand development or repositioningWhat We OfferWe support flexible working arrangements, including full-time, part-time, hybrid, and job-sharing options.
