Job purpose Responsible for creating, executing, delivering, and optimising comprehensive marketing strategies for Cameron House, Cameron Lodges and the sub‑brands across core revenue streams, channels and segments aligned to tactical objectives, goals and overall vision for the resort. Core responsibilities
Develop effective, creative, customer‑focused marketing strategies, property programming concepts, guest journeys and tactical campaigns that align with overall business objectives. Mentor and develop a team of three marketing specialists. Work closely with stakeholders to maximise revenue and grow direct market share. Collaborate with property operations, designers, copywriter and deadlines to maintain high‑standard visual and written content. Collate and manage rolling experience deck for all property experiences. Support creative concept creation, collateral and visual content for rooms, food & beverage, meetings & events, spa, golf and gift voucher revenue streams. Leverage CRM tools to analyse, segment and target audiences, driving personalisation, retention and conversion through email, social, paid media and on‑property activations. Utilise digital analytics to measure campaign performance, optimise spend and inform data‑driven decisions. Track and monitor marketing budget expenses, ensuring performance within given budgets. Maintain strong proactive relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including digital, PR and website agencies. Research and monitor marketing trends, regional and international competitive set, new tools and applications specific to the hotel industry and target markets. Attend regular and key operational and stakeholder meetings where required to ensure alignment in overall approach, objectives and goals.
Personal characteristics and competencies Essential
Proven experience in marketing management, ideally within hospitality or a customer‑centric industry. Strong background in CRM platforms, digital marketing strategy and data analytics. Exceptional communication, project management and leadership skills. Strategic thinker with a strong background in digital marketing and brand management. Excellent copywriting skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure. Experience in managing marketing budgets and analysing performance metrics. Creative thinking and problem‑solving abilities. Understanding of marketing software such Adobe Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft platforms. Strong understanding of digital marketing techniques and tools. Creative and innovative thinker with a genuine desire to deliver excellent customer experience through innovative and unique travel marketing campaigns (digital & traditional). Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external partners. Flexibility to adapt to changing market trends and business needs. Numerate and analytical with the ability to produce reports and derive valuable insights and analysis. Experience using a CRM for reporting, research and insight purposes. Proficient in learning to use different programmes, software and platforms quickly and efficiently.
