Role Overview Reporting to the Head of SME & Retailer Marketing, the Retailer Product Marketing Manager will support the creation and execution of the company’s marketing & PR plans to launch new products and services for Retailer Partners. Responsibilities
Support the strategy and lead the execution of the company’s marketing & PR plan to launch new services and products, drive engagement, awareness and adoption across the retailer network. Position PayPoint Group brands as strategic partners at the heart of convenience retail and broader SME sectors, adding significant value through the provision of pioneering retail technology, card payment services and omnichannel payment solutions in partnership with clients. Drive all product positioning, value proposition and messaging with the goal of increasing product adoption, differentiation, and customer growth. Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform product development and positioning. Bring new/existing products and solutions to market, taking the lead on launch strategy, planning, timelines and budget to ensure maximum impact. Develop a deep understanding of our customers through qualitative and quantitative research and market research in order to inform effective and impactful business decisions. Lead multiple multichannel marketing campaigns end to end, creating regular content refreshes to increase awareness and usage. Monitor performance and reporting results measuring effectiveness, alongside gaining an understanding to barriers of adoption. Work closely with the business teams for the Shopping division (Cards and Retail Services) and the E-Commerce division, developing and executing marketing plans that support the strategic and operational plans for each division. Execute all online and offline content marketing activity for Retailer Partners, including social media, print material, blog posts, articles, white papers, and infographics, working closely with the graphic designer. Support delivery of PR strategy with day-to-day management of overall PR and communications for the Retailer audiences. Manage relationship with external agencies/suppliers. Work alongside relevant business partners and Finance team to ensure correct tracking and accountability across all marketing budgets.
Candidate profile
3+ years of experience in product marketing. Experience working in B2B settings and on marketing or growth strategies in a product lifecycle. Positive, self-starter attitude and desire to learn. Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns across a variety of channels, including digital, social, and print. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to deal with ambiguity. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Previous experience within the convenience retail/SME sectors. Previous experience working with Umbraco, Salesforce Account Engage and MailChimp. Degree, recognised marketing qualification or relevant industry experience.
