We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Executive to join a high-performing team delivering one of the world’s largest annual exhibitions and conferences in the energy sector. This is a dynamic role that supports the execution of digital and content marketing initiatives across social media, email, website, and campaign planning. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Digital Marketing & Content Execution Manage website updates via CMS.
Schedule and maintain social media activity using Hootsuite.
Support the development of briefs for paid digital campaigns (e.g. PPC).
Email Marketing Build and send email campaigns using Emarsys (or a comparable platform).
Assist in setting up email automation journeys.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistency and alignment across messaging.
Marketing Operations & Administration Assist with production of event signage, printed materials, and brochures.
Support development of marketing collateral across exhibition, sponsorship, and visitor campaigns.
Help compile competitor insights and performance reports (e.g. GA4, email metrics).
Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with sales teams to support sector-specific marketing initiatives.
Assist in the promotion of high-level networking and thought leadership programmes.
Collaborate with sponsorship, content, and digital marketing teams on cross-functional projects.
Candidate Profile Experience & Skills Minimum 1 year in a marketing role, ideally in events or a fast-paced industry.
Working knowledge of CMS platforms, email marketing tools (e.g. Emarsys), and social media scheduling tools (Hootsuite).
Strong copywriting skills, especially for email, social media, and web (tone of voice is structured and professional).
Familiarity with key marketing metrics and platforms such as GA4 is desirable.
Key Attributes Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to quickly understand complex projects and contribute from day one.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Calm under pressure, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to deadlines.
A collaborative team player with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
