Role Location

This role is based in our office in Southampton with Mondays & Fridays working from home.

Basic Purpose

Join Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) as a Marketing Executive and play a pivotal role in driving brand growth across our international markets, across Middle East, Israel, and Africa (MEA markets). This dynamic position supports a wide range of consumer and trade marketing initiatives, encompassing campaign planning, execution, implementation, and performance measurement.

Position Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing Manager in executing a diverse range of consumer and trade marketing initiatives across MEA markets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and brand standards.
  • Coordinate and execute media advertising campaigns across print and digital platforms. Responsibilities include briefing creative assets, overseeing production, proofreading, and liaising with internal creative teams, media agencies, and publishers to ensure brand consistency and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Miami-based marketing team to implement consumer-facing campaigns across e-CRM, direct mail, and digital channels, including content updates and optimizations for local websites.
  • Produce and execute trade marketing communications, including social media content, e-newsletters, email campaigns, and updates to the Norwegian Central trade platform. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure relevant, localised messaging.
  • Support regional sales teams by providing marketing collateral, campaign assets, and events to drive engagement and growth among travel partners.
  • Oversee the production and distribution of marketing materials, handling translation workflows with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate localisation.
  • Coordinate logistics and execution of consumer and trade events, including roadshows and ad hoc activations, ensuring seamless delivery and brand representation.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, analysing KPIs, testing strategies, and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization and future growth.
  • Working with various stakeholders within the business, attending and contributing during meetings and planning session as required.
  • Adapt to evolving business needs, taking on new projects and responsibilities as required.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing, ideally within the travel or hospitality industry, though not essential. Proven ability to contribute to both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing integrated marketing plans, across multiple channels including digital, print, and experiential, with measurable impact on brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, with experience in tracking performance metrics, evaluating campaign effectiveness, and making data-driven recommendations to optimise future initiatives.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and proofing tools, enhancing campaign accuracy and efficiency. Experience with platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the cruise and travel industry is advantageous, bringing valuable market insights and customer understanding.

  • Strong understanding and experience of modern marketing processes, with up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and solid commercial awareness to support decision-making.
  • Proven ability to negotiate with service providers, ensuring cost-effective solutions and maintaining high-quality standards across diverse markets.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight, time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and collaborate effectively across teams and regions.
  • Collaborative team player, contributing positively to team dynamics and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Flexibility, with the ability to attend events and activations as needed, including occasional adjustments to working hours.
