This is where you come in.The opportunityYou are a critical contributor within a matrix marketing team who collectively execute the marketing calendar across a mix of CRM, Web, App and 3rd party marketing channels and work with our partners in IAG Loyalty to maximise exploitation of the British Airways Club and partner channels, alongside the development of the content & management of online assets.This role will partner closely with the Senior Merchandising Manager and Data Analytics Manager for the categories (including but not limited to tech, travel and accessories) to ensure optimal omni-channel execution and performance.In the Retail Trading space, you’ll use creativity and experience to drive awareness and B2C sales revenue from the Avios engaged audience, primarily from the Avios currency airline partners, including The British Airways Club, Club Iberia Plus, Aer Lingus AerClub and Vueling Club.You will plan, design and execute compelling B2C marketing communications, primarily in email channels and co-ordinated across other channels. The successful candidate will have a strong direct marketing background with solid understanding of channel performance and indexing highly on digital media within the retail and ecommerce space.This role is based out of our London office. Our hybrid approach, The Blend, gives flexibility to choose where you do your best work while staying connected with your team and the wider business. You will be required to spend at least two days per week in the office, with the rest of the time working from home. You may also be required to work from one of our other office or partner locations, based on your role and to-do list.What you’ll get up toComms Planning & Design: Taking direction from the overall strategic plan, create and maintain detailed campaign plans including copy and design recommendations for CRM.Comms Delivery: Deliver at pace a compelling and cohesive calendar of communication. Work with colleagues to ensure timely development of creative production, artwork, email build and campaign execution.Personalisation: Agree with Data Insight Manager how available personalisation and propensity modelling should be applied using the defined customer contact strategy and what post‑campaign analytical insight is required (e.g., A/B testing, attribution, audience movements).Test and Learn: Include a comprehensive test and learn strategy within campaign design to optimise future activity. Ensure execution of the IAGL Retail brand’s channels (print, OOH, linear TV) and CRM (email, SMS), directly or via external agencies.Channel Optimisation: Assess performance of marketing activities, work with the Data Analyst to monitor, test, analyse and optimise all marketing channels.
