Overview

We are looking for a confident, innovative marketer with a can-do attitude to support the Head of Marketing and Communications in all aspects of LUC’s marketing activity. Core elements of the role will be corporate events coordination, digital marketing and social media, so you should be comfortable working in all these areas. You would be reporting into the Senior Marketing & Communications Coordinator, working as part of LUC’s Marketing & Communications team of 5 people. The role is busy and varied, supporting the technical team of 70 in our London office.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, content & updates for LUC website.
  • Source content and develop engagement for LUC’s social media channels.
  • Corporate event coordination (in-person and online).
  • Creation, editing and proofing of press releases, ads, event materials, brochures, newsletters, e-shots and other promotional materials.
  • Online and offline PR support, e.g. articles, speaking slots, awards submissions.
  • Internal communications support, including administrating LUC’s weekly newsletter and monthly company-wide meeting.
  • Support colleagues in their CRM and Business Development activity.
  • Administrate LUC’s details in professional publications/trade association listings/surveys.
  • Image library administration.
  • Database maintenance.
  • Assist with data analysis and report preparation (Google Analytics, CRM etc).
  • Preparing tutorial videos for marketing tools such as image library and social media.
  • Basic social listening.
  • Monitor marketing inbox.
  • Help with ad hoc marketing projects as required.

The role includes the opportunity to share and participate actively in the management and ownership of the business through the Employee Ownership Trust, which places full ownership of the company with the employees.

We work in a hybrid model and the role includes an expectation that successful applicants will be in the office a minimum of three days per week. There may also be occasional travel (expenses will be covered).

A full-time role is based on 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday). However, LUC has a strong track record in flexible working, and we have been recognised for our flexible working culture, so we are happy to discuss a range of flexible working options for this role including part time hours (minimum 30 hours per week) if desired.

Experience and qualifications

  • Strong experience in a b2b marketing role, preferably in the professional services industry.
  • Experience of corporate events coordination.
  • Experience of managing social media channels: LinkedIn, Instagram.
  • Digital marketing:
    • Website CMS
    • Webinars
    • Podcasts
    • Video production
  • Good understanding of SEO.
  • Experience of producing creative digital marketing collateral and social media posts (portfolio to be shared at interview).
  • Highly IT literate, with excellent working knowledge of Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Working knowledge of Adobe CC suite:
    • InDesign
    • Photoshop
    • Lightroom
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently (with team support in other business locations).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expertise in internal communications.
  • CRM experience.
  • Experience of the built environment sector, ideally environmental consultancy.

Location London

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 FTE (Dependent on experience).
