Role and responsibilities
Take a ‘whole company’ perspective to the performance of Building Homes. Changing Lives by positively influencing the business objectives whilst being Passionate, Collaborative and Respectful.
Support the Marketing Business Partner in amassing quality leads and adequate footfall by analysing buyer profiles and local market information that will be used to devise a development marketing strategy and make recommendations for tactical messaging and content.
Perform regular, thorough checks of all digital collateral, including, but not limited to, development webpages, Google pay-per-click campaigns, social media, and portals, ensuring that copy and imagery is brand compliant, grammatically correct and promoting core values.
Assist the Marketing Business Partner and Sales Manager/Head of Sales in ensuring new plot releases are correctly uploaded to the website and portals and digital communications (including e-shots and social media advertising) are scheduled.
Assist the Marketing Business Partner and sales teams in the formation and execution of Home of the Week, Featured Home, and stock plot campaigns across all digital channels and portals.
Observe competitor activity by conducting regular competitor site visits and visiting competitor webpages.
Assist the Marketing Business Partner in the organisation of regional development and community events, including show home openings, dignitary visits and charitable endeavours.
Support the Marketing Business Partner in the implementation of Community Matters Programme throughout the region by liaising with local schools, community groups and other organisations.
Conduct regular development visits to ensure that collateral, signage, and the sales arena are brand compliant and in good condition, as well as checking the status of any stock plots and featured homes, ensuring such plots are presentable before focus campaigns are scheduled.
Build relationships with key stakeholders, including sales colleagues and RMD, ensuring all parties are aware of any specific campaigns, current development marketing strategies and messaging and Community Matters-related activity.
Protect and take responsibility for the security and professional use of all company property and equipment and at all times ensure customer/third party contact and communications is secure and protected within the business IT infrastructure in accordance with GDPR requirements.
Comply with responsibilities under the Company’s Health & Safety, Environmental and Corporate Responsibility policies and all other policies and procedures, ensuring all colleagues, customers and external partners comply with H&S policies at all times.

Demonstrates good knowledge of the region’s focus developments, buyer profiles and overarching business objectives and priorities.
Demonstrates a passion for the marketing discipline and personal Continued Professional Development (CPD).
Confident in the execution of the regional marketing strategy and group communications, such as tactical messaging and national campaigns.
Demonstrates awareness of the latest Brand Guidelines and Sales Signage Guide to confidently assist the region in maintaining brand compliance.
Confident in the use of all marketing-related software and systems, including COINS, Processwire, Spotler, Canva, social media, Google platforms and portal and agency interfaces.
Works collaboratively with regional stakeholders and the wider Marketing team.
Ideal experience
This is a marketing role and will require a full mix marketer
Proficient communicator, including strong copy writing skills
A marketing degree or relevant marketing experience
Able to prioritise effectively with good time keeping
Knowledge of the house building and/or construction industry
