OverviewMarketing Director - 12 Month ContractA global financial technology business is seeking an accomplished Marketing Director to join its London office on a 12 month contract. The position will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering marketing programs that strengthen brand visibility, support product launches, and generate qualified sales opportunities.The role reports into senior executives based in North America and involves working across multiple regions. You will partner closely with commercial, product, and design teams to deliver multi-channel campaigns that highlight the firm’s trading solutions, compliance technology, and new market initiatives.During the contract period, the company is also broadening its capabilities in foreign exchange and fixed income markets. You will be expected to design and execute campaigns supporting these strategic growth areas. Core Responsibilities

Develop and lead go-to-market strategies across a diverse product set, with emphasis on trading and surveillance tools. Build and manage digital content pipelines, with a focus on professional social channels such as LinkedIn, ensuring engagement is measured and reported. Design and run email programs to attract new prospects, nurture existing leads, and create upsell opportunities, including regular client updates. Segment and refine contact databases for targeted outreach. Track effectiveness of marketing initiatives, reporting on ROI and engagement metrics. Coordinate industry conferences, networking events, and webinars, including budget oversight and vendor management. Produce impactful collateral such as case studies, presentations, thought-leadership articles, and sales materials.

Skills & Experience Required

At least 10 years of senior marketing experience within a fintech or financial services environment, preferably covering trading, derivatives, FX, or fixed income. Solid grasp of capital markets concepts and financial instruments. Strong hands-on experience with automation and CMS platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Pardot, WordPress or similar). Excellent communication abilities, both written and spoken. Innovative thinker with sharp attention to detail and execution. London location strongly preferred, though top candidates in other major financial hubs will be considered. Comfortable working predominantly from the office (minimum three days weekly). Some travel may be necessary.
