Marketing Associate - EMEA (Financial Services)

Location: London/Hybrid (Onsite 3 days minimum / Optional 2 days from home)

Reports to: Senior Marketing Director

Contract Type: 12 month Contract

About the Role

Join our client's EMEA marketing team as a Marketing Associate and play a vital role in supporting the Global Markets business. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about financial services and looking to advance their marketing careers. With the organisation's significant growth and investment, you will contribute to dynamic product development and delivery.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, Communications, and both internal and external agencies, to implement integrated marketing initiatives. Your efforts will help shape a successful go-to-market strategy targeting Institutional clients through multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to support product launches, focusing on digital, email, content, and brand development.
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing materials, ensuring adherence to brand and regulatory standards.
  • Submit and monitor marketing briefs and manage the filing of contracts.
  • Provide event support for proprietary and industry conferences, coordinating with the events team and external organisers to ensure logistical accuracy and timely asset delivery.
  • Process vendor invoices promptly and address any issues that arise.
  • Assist in creating content for website pages, thought leadership pieces, and campaign assets.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Compliance, Legal, Sales) to secure approvals and facilitate timely content delivery.
  • Conduct competitor and market research to enhance positioning, messaging, and promotional strategies.
  • Help manage the marketing calendar, timelines, and project tracking.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance and customer engagement metrics.
  • Support the organisation of launch-related events, sponsorships, and client communications.

Key Skills and Attributes

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an understanding of appropriate tone for financial services audiences.
  • A proactive and collaborative attitude, willing to learn and contribute across various projects.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels (email, social media, paid media, SEO) and analytics tools.
  • A keen interest in financial markets, investment products, or trading platforms.
  • Strong budget management skills.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital roles; prior experience or internships in financial services is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of compliance considerations for financial promotions (e.g., FCA guidelines) is advantageous.
  • Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, CRM/email platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketscape/Aprimo), or content management systems is beneficial.
