Taylor & Francis Group have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Analytics Manager to join the Marketing Analytics team. We’re looking for an individual who has a real curiosity about patterns in data and a passion for turning those patterns into actionable commercial information. 

This role would suit someone who is highly numerate with exceptional analytics skills, alongside the ability to communicate their insight to the wider business and make commercial recommendations. You’ll be kept busy managing some of your own projects as well as supporting the rest of the team in ensuring that the Marketing department have the analytics and insights required to actively support their budget, targets and strategy planning.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the Marketing team to make strategic, data first decisions by:Designing and optimising marketing reporting and dashboards, enabling marketers to independently make evidence-based decisions.Creating regular reports and presentations for stakeholders on marketing performance and recommendations.Supporting A/B test initiatives to enhance conversion rates and customer engagement.Conducting analysis and creating actionable insights to drive marketing performance including:Campaign and channel trackingBenchmarking and goal settingCustomer behaviour and segmentationDeveloping in-house training for campaign analysis and reporting.
  • Source and integrate data for accurate reporting, collaborating with Technology and other analytics teams to define marketing reporting requirements and maintain data quality.
  • Line-management of junior members in the team.
  • Qualifications

    What we’re looking for:

  • Highly numerate with advanced level Excel.
  • Knowledge and experience in data manipulation, data visualisation and report creation, ideally in Power BI.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Experience in SQL.
  • Experience in working with marketing, customer and sales data.
  • Experience in A/B testing, knowledge of other statistical modelling techniques.
  • A focus on commercial results and making evidence-based decisions.
  • Problem solving and strategic thinking ability.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills to create compelling insights and recommendations at all organisational levels.
  • A focus on learning and self-development.
  • Experience with the following would be beneficial: Alteryx, Python, R, BigQuery, Marketing Cloud, Sprinklr, Contentsquare, Google Tag Manager.
  • Additional Information

    Location: The successful candidate will be able to utilise our balanced working model. We ask that candidates live within a commutable distance of our Milton Park office to ensure that as a balanced worker they can make it to this office location to collaborate as required. There is an expectation for a minimum of 3 days per week in-person time.
