Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a strategic, multi-channel marketing plan aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Oversee and execute marketing campaigns across PR, events, digital, content, product marketing, and internal communications.
  • Build and protect the company’s brand reputation, ensuring messaging is compelling, consistent, and influential across all platforms.
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives, PR campaigns, and analyst relations to enhance visibility in B2B and B2G markets.
  • Lead demand generation campaigns, turning thought leadership into qualified leads for the sales team.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitors, and campaign ROI to optimise strategy.
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively and develop strong partnerships with agencies and media partners.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a talented marketing team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
  • Represent the business at key trade events, conferences, and external engagements.

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree and recognised marketing qualification.
  • Proven track record in senior-level B2B and B2G marketing within a technology-focused environment.
  • Strong expertise in public relations, brand management, and creating compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making and ROI analysis.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, analytics, SEO, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Experience managing budgets and leading marketing teams.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally (UK and international).

Location

On-site, Cambridge (5 days a week). Some UK and international travel required.

This role is based full-time on-site in Cambridgeshire based offices. It’s best suited to candidates based in Cambridge, Ely, St Ives, Huntingdon, Royston, Newmarket, Peterborough or other areas within Cambridgeshire and the surrounding counties. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle will be required, as occasional travel (including international) forms part of the role.
