Love organising corporate events and conferences? Looking for a new role that offers autonomy and flexibility? Working in a growing marketing team, as the Marketing Events Manager you will plan and organise a variety of events, with the wider objective to enhance brand visibility, increasing engagement and driving business growth. In addition to the operational part of events, key to this role is to suggest content for event themes and topics by looking at industry trends, as well as securing speakers and panellists where needed. You’ll also be:
Identify and suggest events to attend and organise with the aim to give the best exposure to the company Oversee the planning and execution of corporate and industry events, conferences, trade shows, webinars, and customer-facing experiences. Coordinate all event logistics including venue selection, vendor management, registration, and on-site execution. Manage the company annual conference, in collaboration with the rest of the Marketing team. Provide compelling content for speakers, panel discussions and supporting slides where necessary. Help to drive registrations to events. Manage the follow up process, ensuring all leads are marked correctly and uploaded into the CRM. Track progress and ROI on each event. Involved in management of the event marketing budget. Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and venues. Create and coordinate event-specific marketing materials, such as email invitations, promotional content, brochures, and signage.
You’ll have experience in planning and managing successful B2B events (offline and in-person), with the ability to conceptualise the vision for an event and make it a reality! Juggling multiple priorities, working to tight deadlines and being systems savvy (HubSpot experience would be great) is essential. Location: Remote/Cambridge - 1 day per week minimum in the office Hours: Monday-Friday - Full time hours with flexible working Salary: Excellent salary and benefits including annual discretionary bonus, pension and private medical insurance.
