Entrust’s Identity Security Segment is seeking a passionate product marketing professional to take a leadership role within the product segment and across Solutions Marketing. The Solutions Marketing Director defines messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy—working closely with engineering, product management, corporate marketing, channels and field sales to help take Entrust Identity Security to the next level. Key functions of Solutions Marketing include voice of customer, analysts, competitive and market insights, sales/channel enablement content, product messaging and positioning, product launches, and helping define and drive the portfolio’s strategic direction and evolution.
Position Overview
This Identity Security Solutions Marketing Director plays a critical role in growing Entrust’s share in the Identity Security market. You will define the compelling solution value proposition for key use cases and build messaging that is differentiated, clear, simple, and compelling. As the chief Identity Security storyteller, you will serve as a global subject matter expert on the market, trends, and Entrust products. You will lead cross-functional initiatives essential to growing the business. The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of the Identity market, a passion for storytelling, experience leading cross-functional teams, management experience, and the ability to get work done.
Please note this is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in our London office.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute annual and quarterly product marketing, analyst and communication strategies and plans, in partnership with growth and field marketing.
Develop product positioning and the overall story with product management that is relevant, compelling, and differentiating in the market.
Define and articulate the solution communication strategies, positioning, unique value proposition, and messaging plans for various use cases, audiences, and personae.
Be the expert on customers, how they buy, buying criteria, and how to reach them; glean deep customer insights that drive ROI.
Develop accurate, timely, and industry-focused product collateral, thought leadership content, and sales enablement material, including datasheets, website content, white papers, playbooks, and battle cards. Continuously tweak to optimize effectiveness.
Turn strong messaging and positioning platforms into a solid go-to-market strategy with tools and tactics for global sales and marketing teams.
Coordinate with growth, field, and channel marketing to align initiatives and communications; manage cross-functional plan execution.
Research competitor and market activity to stay informed on tailwinds/headwinds; enable sales and product teams with market and competitive intelligence.
Lead a team of seasoned Solutions Marketing professionals.
Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiencies, leverage strategic relationships, and align messaging across segments.
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of increasing responsibility in product marketing, preferably in Identity Security space with IDV and/or IAM solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
3+ years of previous leadership experience.
Experience in managing or working on global marketing campaigns.
Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and writing proficiency.
Deep understanding and familiarity with channels.
Ability to travel internationally approximately 20% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Identity Security space with IDV and/or IAM solutions.
Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms to drive data-driven strategies, competitive intelligence, and market research.
Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships within the Identity Security industry.
