At Andaz, which translates from Hindi as "personal style", we empower each colleague to be their authentic self and create memorable, personable experiences for our guests.What you will do as Director of Sales & MarketingResponsibilitiesLead a diverse and engaged teamMonitor and evaluate local, national and international market trends, and the competitor hotels’ sales initiatives, to ensure the hotel’s marketing and sales remain competitive and cutting edgeSupport your team to develop strategic sales plans and activities to ensure the hotel achieves the corporate, groups and events budgetConduct daily and weekly meetings with your team and review new and existing leads to ensure they are being effectively managedSupport & monitor Sales Team to ensure that production quotas are met and that enquiries are professionally responded to and followed up in a timely mannerEnsure proactive activities are taking place by the sales team to increase enquiry levelsUse market intelligence reports and work with third parties to identify opportunities within hotel market segments and assess potential for new businessConduct and support Sales Team with site visits, offsite client meetings and presentations, fam trips and networking eventsStay up to date with market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads and contribute to the overall hotel sales strategyWork with Hyatt colleagues globally to support and maximise opportunities locally and for other Hyatt hotels worldwideWork with HR to recruit, train, and retain top sales and marketing talentAbout youCurrently in a Director of Sales and Marketing role is preferableExtensive experience in Sales and Marketing leadership rolesProven track record of achieving revenue growth and expanding market shareStrong leadership, communication, and team management skillsAn understanding of digital marketing and analyticsStrategic and agile thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plansRight to work within the UK is preferableAbout Andaz London Liverpool StreetAt Hyatt ‘We care for people so they can be their best’.
