Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire marketing funnel, focusing on acquisition and onboarding of new subscribers.
  • Develop and implement integrated campaigns across platforms including social media, search engines, video platforms, email newsletters, websites, and mobile apps.
  • Create and optimise onboarding journeys, utilising email sequences, landing pages, push notifications, and in-app content.
  • Collaborate with product, editorial, data, and design teams to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.
  • Monitor KPIs for acquisition, conversion, and lifetime value across channels.
  • Conduct A/B testing and other optimisation strategies to enhance campaign performance and ROI.
  • Maintain brand consistency while tailoring campaigns for optimal performance across publications.
  • Manage on-site promotions, metering strategies, and offer pages to maximise conversion rates.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Experience in acquisition or lifecycle marketing within a subscription-based business, publishing, or direct-to-consumer environment.
  • Hands-on experience executing campaigns on Meta, Google Ads, and YouTube.
  • Strong understanding of marketing funnels, customer journeys, attribution models, and lifetime value forecasting.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as GA4 and content analytics platforms.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools.
  • Creative and collaborative mindset with attention to copy, design, and user experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience building onboarding journeys that drive early engagement and retention.
  • Familiarity with publishing tools.
  • Basic coding skills (HTML & CSS) for creating email and marketing templates.
