We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Manager to lead and optimise our paid media campaigns across social and PPC channels, while driving our broader digital marketing strategy to the next level. Job Overview: The Digital Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping, executing, and optimising MCR's paid media strategy while managing broader digital marketing initiatives. This includes planning and running paid campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, while monitoring performance, analysing results, and maximising ROI. The role is based in-house in our Manchester office, providing the opportunity to work closely with the marketing team and wider business to deliver high-impact campaigns.The ideal candidate will have proven experience in paid media, strong analytical skills, and the ability to create compelling campaigns that drive leads and brand awareness. You will report directly to the Marketing Director and work as part of a small, dynamic marketing team. Key Responsibilities: Paid Media Management: Plan, execute, and optimise paid campaigns across social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and PPC channels (Google Ads, Bing Ads).
Monitor, analyse, and report on paid media performance, providing insights and recommendations to maximise ROI.
Conduct A/B testing and experiment with ad creative, targeting, and bidding strategies to improve campaign effectiveness.
Manage advertising budgets efficiently, ensuring optimal spend and performance.
Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement digital marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
Analyse overall digital marketing performance using analytics tools and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure cohesive campaign delivery.
Content & Creative Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality digital content to support campaigns, including ad copy, graphics, videos, and landing pages.
Ensure messaging is consistent across all digital platforms and aligns with brand voice.
Website & Technology Management: Work with the web development team to optimise website performance, landing pages, and user experience for paid campaigns.
Identify new tools and technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness.
Tracking & Analytics: Set up and maintain campaign tracking (UTMs, pixels, conversion tracking).
Analyse campaign data to produce actionable insights and reports for the Marketing Director.
Generate market and performance reports to guide strategic decision-making.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 2 years focused on paid media (social and PPC).
Proven track record of planning and optimising paid campaigns with measurable ROI.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, SEMrush, or similar.
Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimisation, and lead generation campaigns.
Solid understanding of SEO, content marketing, and broader digital marketing channels.
Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
