We’re looking for a hands-on customer marketer to help us engage, educate and retain our customers through standout lifecycle campaigns. You’ll obsess over how to engage our Investing customers in ways that feel helpful, timely and human. You’ll need to understand our category, but also be bold enough to do things differently. You’ll report into the Senior Marketing Manager overseeing CRM and collaborate closely with our CRM Ops Manager to turn strategy into well-executed journeys.

What You’ll Do
- Plan, write, deliver and optimise lifecycle campaigns across key customer segments and stages
- Develop creative strategies to overcome customer inertia – testing different messages, moments, formats and behaviours
- Constantly seek new ways to surprise, motivate or reframe – drawing from behavioural science, customer insight and experimentation
- Collaborate with the CRM Ops Manager to build and launch campaigns in Customer.io
- Work with subject matter experts to deliver timely, relevant financial education – tailored to each customer segment and lifecycle stage
- Work hand in hand with our Brand & Creative teams to ensure every CRM campaign not only performs but looks and feels unmistakably Octopus
- Ensure all messages meet regulatory and quality standards
What You’ll Bring
- 6+ years of experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing – ideally in low-engagement, regulated categories (financial services, insurance, pensions, etc.)
- Strong campaign planning and copywriting skills – able to write clear, concise, high-performing CRM messages
- A test-and-learn mindset – you’re not afraid to try things, learn fast, and try again
- Experience designing customer journeys and automations, even if someone else builds them
- Experience using customer data and behaviour to define next-best-action strategies that drive engagement and conversion
- Confident working with data to inform segmentation, targeting and testing plan
- A passion for improving financial wellbeing and making advice feel more accessible and human
compensation & Benefits
In return for your contribution, we offer a base salary of £60,000 - £70,000 DOE + benefits.
Please note, as a regulated business we are required to run background checks for all employees which covers adverse financial and unspent convictions. These will only take place upon a successful job offer.

Flexible working
We currently operate a hybrid model which is a mix of office and remote. You’ll have the option of working from home 2 days per week with the remainder from our central London office in Holborn.

We give an 18 day work from anywhere allowance to swap out the on site days or take some time working from another country. NB - Due to compliance regulations this does not apply to individuals that give regulated financial advice.
