Why this role is important: your content will shape how Irwin is perceived in the market, drive brand awareness and engagement, and support key marketing initiatives from lead generation to customer retention.

In This Role, You Will

  • Maintain and update the team’s editorial calendar, manage deliverables through Asana, and ensure content planning and production stay on track.
  • Write and produce short-form and long-form content including blog posts, case studies, reports, guides, sales enablement content, social media, and more.
  • Maintain a LinkedIn content calendar and coordinate visual assets to accompany posts for engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director, Brand Marketing to manage Irwin’s podcast production (sourcing guests, preparing questions, editing and creating promotional assets) and support with industry trend analysis.
  • Partner with the Event Marketing Manager to create content for virtual and in-person events (event descriptions, landing pages, emails, on-site assets, and post-event communications).
  • Write and distribute Irwin’s monthly editorial newsletter, Inside IR, and manage the Irwin Community forum.
  • Track industry trends to produce timely, educational content; identify client success stories with sales and customer success teams and develop case studies.
  • Collaborate with internal SMEs and external thought leaders to develop industry insights content.
  • Explore various content formats and channels to enhance storytelling and optimize content with the SEO & Web Marketing Manager.
  • Keep the Marketing Hub updated with current materials and maintain consistent brand voice, tone, and messaging across all content.

Qualifications

  • You have 6+ years of experience creating content for B2B or niche audiences with a strong portfolio.
  • You understand how content fits into the broader marketing strategy and seek to boost engagement.
  • High-quality writing with the ability to follow a voice and style guide to maintain consistency and on-brand messaging.
  • Data-driven mindset: use metrics to optimize content performance.
  • Strong multi-project management skills with the ability to prioritize and collaborate across teams to deliver on time.
  • You contribute ideas and drive direction; you can engage with senior leaders effectively.
  • You stay informed about current events and news in the industry and spot opportunities for timely content.
  • You’re autonomous, proactive, and able to generate ideas and manage expectations.
  • You understand the role of AI in content creation as a tool for research and efficiency, not for final pieces.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and ensure polished, professional output.

Nice To Have

  • Understanding of public markets.
  • Background in finance or capital markets writing, or journalism, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools like HubSpot.
  • Basic design skills or familiarity with Canva or Figma for visuals.
