Content Marketing Lead

New Today

Overview of the role

Good Space is at a very exciting time. Our mission is to facilitate 10,000 friendships in 5 years - through both the continued growth of our work clubs (across London and wider UK) and Ideas Club. As Content Marketing Lead you’ll play a big role in making that happen; taking the lead on all our content, managing our social media and supporting the production of Ideas Club. You’ll work very closely with the senior leadership team, our Club Managers and our graphic design team.

Who you are

  • You love making things, and encouraging others on their creative journey.
  • You are a storyteller at heart.
  • You love people. Bringing them delight & joy lights you up.
  • You take your work seriously but not yourself. You enjoy creating mischief.
  • You’re a self-starter and have strong POVs.
  • You are brand obsessed. People get bored of hearing you talk about your favourite brands.
  • You are tech-savvy, with an in-depth knowledge of social media platforms.

Role and responsibilities

Content Marketing Lead

  • Take on full management of our social media. Reporting on performance across all channels.
  • Own and develop our content calendar and use this to write, create, schedule, and monitor all content across our social channels.
  • Create original photo and video content with a focus on our spaces, team, and members, briefing a videographer/photographer when needed.
  • Alongside our senior leadership team you’ll strategise how to grow our social media audience and engagement, in the most creative and cost effective way possible.
  • Storyboarding and designing paid social ads.
  • Help curate and write the newsletter content, and take full responsibility for producing the video podcast (editing show notes, distribution & clipping up highlight reels). You’ll also help book guest speakers.
  • In addition to the primary responsibilities, everyone on our team is responsible for providing the ‘unreasonable hospitality’ and pitching in around the work clubs. We each wear the ‘Club Manager’ hat, actively hosting and getting to know our members.

Skills we’re looking for

  • You’re a great copywriter. Words are your happy place.
  • Good eye for visual design and understanding of visual elements; layout, type and fonts.

Bonus points if you have

  • Any journalistic experience
  • Technical capability in the Adobe Suite or skills in additional creative media

Role Details

  • Permanent, full-time, salaried position: £33,000.
  • We offer a competitive benefits package including a company funded pension plan and personal growth and development opportunities.

Qualifications required

NONE! Please don’t exclude yourself based on qualifications or previous experience. If we see potential and eagerness we’ll take you under serious consideration (hence the wide salary range).

The working environment and your development

You’ll spend 4 days per week roaming our London work clubs, alongside the rest of our Support Team. With 1 day flexible to WFH if that suits you.

We’re committed to investing in your growth. We hope you'll have grown tremendously to succeed in whatever you do next at Good Space or elsewhere. You will have learned about multiple different elements of growing a brand-led startup and about the hospitality industry.

Application Process

Our application process is unique - so please read all of the following instructions carefully. We want to ensure that our process is as open as possible. We welcome all applicants, regardless of background and experience, and will evaluate you only on the skills you demonstrate during the application process.

Stage 1: We will not ask for your name, resume or background until you progress through the first stage. If you think this position might be a good fit for you, we strongly encourage you to apply. The first step is to simply fill out an online questionnaire. It should take no more than 30 minutes. You will need to copy and paste this link into a new browser:

Stage 2: We will review each submission and then invite a select number of applicants to submit their CV and participate in an online interview with the Managing Director.

Stage 3: Should applicants progress, they are invited for a second interview. This time in person and with the founders. We then will make a formal job offer to an applicant for the position.

Applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK.

Note: Good Space is an equal opportunity employer, and we value diversity at our company. We don’t discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

Our Values

WE ARE RADICALLY WELCOMING

We take care of each individual who steps through our front doors. Beyond their usefulness to us or their title.

WE ARE PROUDLY INDEPENDENT

We back the little guy. The independent thinker. The person who puts their heart and soul into their work. We’re capturing the spirit of the indie and channelling it in everything we do.

WE ARE INSTINCTIVELY JOYFUL

We act our shoe size, not our age. Someone clever once said ‘you only get to come in if you promise to act like a child.’ When we act like children we become softer, kinder, sillier. And yes, more creative.
