This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, tracking KPIs, managing project work and acting as the main point of contact for all design matters.Training & Progression PathwayMonths 1 - 3: Full hands-on training in building client websites with Webflow, updating live client sites, and learning our systems, processes and design standards.Months 3 - 6: Begin supporting workload allocation, assisting in KPI tracking and shadowing management responsibilities.Month 6 onwards: Transition into full team management, taking responsibility for daily operations, KPIs, project delivery and staff development.This structured pathway ensures you are fully supported and confident before stepping into leadership responsibilities.We actively champion career progression, with clear pathways to senior leadership roles such as Head of Design.What your day might look like:Hands-On Design Responsibilities (Training Phase)Build new client websites using WebflowMake changes and updates to live client websitesGain full training on client processes, update requests and project workflowsCore Role Management Responsibilities (Once Trained)Daily management of design team operationsManagement of design team KPIs, tracking & reportingOversight of design project workActing as main point of contact for all design-related queriesCompletion of regular design audits (processes, spreadsheets, reporting)Daily Management of Design TeamAllocate daily workloads to team members following SLA and priority orderUpdate relevant documents (daily workload trackers) & attend management meetingsOversee design QCs to ensure high-quality outputsConduct monthly 1:1s to support staff development and process improvementComplete a management training course within 6 months and present learnings to senior managementManagement of Design Team KPIsTrack, monitor and report on team KPIsEnsure monthly KPI targets are consistently metOversight of delivery of websites within a 3 day SLAProject ManagementAccurately track individual designers’ project workConduct regular follow-ups and check-ins to ensure timely project completionMain Point of Contact for DesignEscalate any issues raised in 1:1s to senior managementAct as the primary point of contact for senior management and other departments regarding designEnsure all escalations are logged, resolved and followed up in writingAct as main liaison for sales requests relating to designAbout You:Proven experience managing, mentoring and coaching a teamExperience using Webflow is essentialAbility to inspire creativity and maintain consistencyStrong understanding and practical experience using Webflow as a design platformFamiliarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and basic coding (HTML/CSS/JS) is preferred but not essential.Ability to build new websites and update live client sites confidentlyExcellent leadership and people management skillsAbility to track, monitor and report on KPIs effectivelyStrong communication and organisational skills, including cross department collaborationDetail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality design outputsProactive, ambitious and able to thrive in a fast-paced environmentReady to take the leap into leadership?
