- This position reports to the Digital Content Manager, and liaises with the Marketing Department, the IT department and the Buying & Merchandising teams.
- This role is responsible for loading products onto the Forbidden Planet website, and maintaining website products to agreed standards and timescales.
- Revisit Web records as needed to ensure that product information is the best available.
- Ensure that research is undertaken swiftly and accurately across a wide range of products and sites.
- Locate and edit product imagery and text if required.
- Liaise with the Buying/Merchandising Department to ensure that all product information is accurate.
- Ensure all promotions are applied to the FP website products, liaising with buyers as needed.
- Keeping your line manager informed of product load activity and progress.
- Check FP website landing pages daily for accuracy, functionality and compliance with agreed standards.
- Maintain website landing pages as requested.
- Maintain the consistency and accuracy of the web database.
- Ensure signings/event web content is dealt with in a timely way and to FP standards.
- Construct weekly newsletters.
- Marketing duties include periodic attendance at Signing Events, conventions and other off site activity.
- Occasional creation / ordering of in-store POS and signage.
- Occasional creation of digital assets for use on Social Media channels.

Essential: * Demonstrable command of MS Office (Documents & spreadsheets), Adobe Photoshop and FileMaker or similar database. * Experience in a transactional website environment. * An understanding of product categorisation, stock status and basic day-to-day management of a product database. * Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities within extremely tight deadlines. * Strong attention to detail. * Good knowledge of Forbidden Planet product mix.
