The UK Product Acquisition team is responsible for driving business growth by attracting and converting new prospects into our Cardmembers. This role is a critical contributor to the Acquisition team, bringing in new Cardmembers across a range of campaigns and channels. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated individual looking to further develop their marketing skills and drive tangible growth for the business within a fast-paced environment. The Acquisition Team have the opportunity to create some of the UK's largest and most high profile TV, out of home and digital campaigns. It will be your responsibility to support the agencies briefings, media planning and creative production and delivery of these campaigns, as well as ensuring we are constantly innovating, optimising and testing new methods to acquire the right customers all within the parameters of Consumer Duty and other regulatory guidelines.
How will you make an impact in this role?
End to end management and delivery of acquisition campaigns across online and offline channels (e.g. digital display, social, AV, outdoor, radio, podcasts, cinema and partnerships) to support overall acquisition objectives
Agency management, working with a variety of agency stakeholders across creative briefing, development, production and media planning / buying
Analysis and reporting of campaign results and acquisition performance using a wide range of reporting tools
Data-driven, proactive development of new ideas for campaigns to improve acquisition efficiency and effectiveness
Collaborating with internal teams across the business including UK acquisition channel owners, Product, Risk, Acquisition Centre of Excellence, Global Brand, Corporate Affairs, etc.
Supporting the team in acquisition planning and forecasting processes
Management and administration of campaign budgets, including raising requisitions, processing invoices, vendor liaison, internal reconciliation etc.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns (ideally B2C / ATL channel experience) and good understanding of Amex marketing channels.
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influence is critical, including external creative and media agencies
Strong project, process and budget management skills with great attention to detail.
Quantitative and analytical skills coupled with strong written and oral communication to gather and articulate learnings and outputs and inform future strategy.
Capable of working independently, efficiently multitasking and working under pressure to meet business deadlines.
Strong initiative and problem-solving skills – ability to take ownership of their work and find a way around obstacles and challenges with a positive attitude.
Track record of being a great team player with a nurturing and collaborative approach and strong leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Solid knowledge of media planning across online and offline channels and experience in briefing and managing media agencies
Understanding of consumer Card issuing in the UK.
