OverviewWe are looking for a passionate Trade Marketing Manager to help us take our business to the next level. Sitting in our Commercial team and reporting into our Head of Commercial & Trade Marketing, we are seeking someone who is creative and strategic, an incredible relationship builder, and focused on driving brand growth through campaigns and marketing plans. You’ll establish, build and nurture retailer partnerships alongside the Commercial team and plan and negotiate best-in-class support to optimise the brand in stores and online.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Commercial team counterparts to build out annual trade marketing plans with allocated Retail partners, identifying key retail moments and brand opportunities to amplify awareness and drive acquisitionEnsure marketing planning and spend are aligned with the scale of NPD moments, considering what a gold moment looks like vs a bronzeRun regular operational meetings with Retailers to align on key trading moments and joint activation planning, plus bi-yearly strategic planning sessions to share overarching brand strategy and partnership goalsDeliver bespoke, location-relevant content and sales-driving tactics for key doors and campaigns, working closely with Retail and Creative teams to executeFeed into the central marketing function on requirements for retailers to drive best results from launches and campaignsEnsure all spend delivers ROI and learnings are captured and shared, aligning on budget with Head of the function, Commercial and FinancePlan, negotiate and deliver best-in-class marketing plans for each new store launch, aligning with key functions on commercial opportunity and strategic role for each oneBrief and manage production of marketing POS and organise delivery of large brand events with relevant stakeholdersConsider and plan use of media to drive brand awareness in campaigns and brand momentsSupport Retail team with eventing toolkits to execute strong eventing plans across the regionEnsure stock to support marketing activity is organised with planning as appropriateBuild and nurture best-in-class relationships with retail partners to drive preferential support and fair share of voiceRequirementsExperience in working with Retail Partners in a trade marketing capacityExperience in translating brand calendars into activation plans within RetailYou balance creativity with strategic intentOpen to challenges and passionate about working in the beauty industryStructured and organised but comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing businessComfortable with a startup culture and able to work hands-on in a flexible and agile mannerAppetite for learning and developmentExcellent relationship-building and communication skills; written and verbalSome experience in managing budgets and justifying spendProven experience and successes in negotiating marketing supportExcellent PowerPoint and presentation skillsBenefitsHybrid and flexible working, with core working hours25 days holiday (plus wellbeing days, Early Finish Fridays and Summer Fridays)Starter stack and swagYour Beauty Wallet: £500 annual product allowanceCompany discount for self, friends and familyVitality health scheme, EAP and Medicash (dental, optical & audiological care)Annual personal training and development budgetEnhanced family-friendly packagesPension schemeCycle to work schemeOffice socials and celebrationsRewards and Recognition SchemeEqual OpportunitiesWe celebrate diversity in our customers, our products, and the teams we build.
