Overview
Skin + Me is a mission-driven start-up with seriously big skin goals. We are looking for an experienced Trade Marketing Manager to join our Retail Team. This is a hybrid role with three days a week in our Paddington HQ (Mon, Tue, Fri) and two days remote. Occasional national travel to visit retailers will be required.
What you'll do
- Plan, manage and execute the annual trade marketing plans in line with the Skin + Me retail strategy and brand values, in collaboration with the retail and marketing teams.
- Lead the execution of multi-channel trade marketing initiatives, including in-store activations, digital marketing campaigns, sampling strategies and the retailer eventing calendar.
- Ensure best-in-class digital merchandising and content management across partner websites. Write clear briefs for internal creative and copy teams to produce compelling content and assets, and implement all creative and copy assets to support new product launches with digital campaigns, emails and banners.
- Develop retailer eventing strategy to drive brand awareness and achieve KPIs; implement all associated activities and initiatives.
- Own end-to-end Skin + Me retailer visual merchandising in-store executions, both permanent and promotional, with the ability to project manage and secure buy-in from internal and external stakeholders.
- Take accountability for the UK Retail Trade Calendar and act as the conduit between retailers and the business, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Manage and maintain trade marketing budgets.
- Establish KPIs, analyse results and develop strategies to maximise ROI on all trade marketing tactics.
Who you are
- Experience in a similar role within the beauty, health or wellness space.
- Strong experience working with major UK beauty retailers, particularly Boots.
- A passion for skincare and beauty with a deep understanding of the UK beauty market and trade marketing tactics.
- Commercially minded and driven by hitting targets.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical ability to apply data to measure success.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are a self-starter who thrives in bias-for-action and execution.
