OverviewTechnical Product Marketing Manager - Cybersecurity role at Canonical. Teams meet 2–4 times per year in person to align on strategy and execution.Location: This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region.ResponsibilitiesLead the go-to-market strategy and execution for Canonical's range of security and compliance products, including messaging and positioningTrack the competitive landscape and emerging trends to define product differentiation and value driversCollaborate with engineering and product teams to understand product roadmaps and customer use casesTranslate technical product capabilities into clear, differentiated messaging for key personas, including Executives, DevSecOps, and platform teamsOwn campaign and content planning for the security portfolioUse data and insights to iterate on demand generation strategies and optimize conversion throughout the funnelWork with other teams to plan events, webinars and support messaging for paid and social media promotionWhat we are looking for in youA passion for technology and open source—excited about innovation and community-driven developmentStrong storytelling skills to craft messaging for technical and business audiencesGrowth mindset with a focus on experimentation, learning, and continuous improvementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsNice-to-have skillsTechnical understanding of the cybersecurity fieldData-driven mindset using insights to refine strategies and improve performanceExperience in product marketing for enterprise software, cloud, DevOps, or open-source solutionsExperience with demand generation and translating GTM strategies into pipeline growthComfort working cross-functionally with product, sales, partners, and marketing teamsWhat we offer colleaguesCompensation is shaped by location, experience, and performance.
