Role Purpose: Our client is looking for an experienced internet obsessive who lives and breathes digital culture. The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of how to craft content and grow channels to attract audiences on a huge scale. They will be a key pillar in a world-leading social media team, responsible for maximising online reach in the UK. They will develop creative and innovative ideas that drive viewership and engagement with millions of users every single day. The performance they deliver will be crucial in winning the hearts and minds of UK consumers, encouraging them to make our client their brand of choice.

This role will power the growth of our client's channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Strava, WhatsApp, Spotify) as well as genre-focused mixes in UK rap and UK gaming. The ideal candidate will be confident working across multiple platforms, with a deep understanding of internet culture, social media analytics, and what it takes to go viral. They will be as comfortable presenting a strategic vision to senior stakeholders as they are producing social media content that will travel. They will be on the lookout for new channel and project opportunities, using their influence to seize them and ensure our client continues to grow its social media presence in the UK. In short - they will deliver career-defining social media impact.

Key Responsibilities: Growing the organic viewership of our client's social media channels Acting as quality control and standard-bearer for social media content Budget, agency and people management Project ideation, delivery and reporting Experience, Knowledge & Skills: Experience delivering millions of views across a high-reach network of channels for a publisher, broadcaster, creator or content producer Ability to understand and explain what drives organic virality Experience with YouTube, TikTok and Instagram Experience pitching and launching new social media channels Ability to ideate and create viral social media content (with examples) Proven experience of achieving significant growth for social platforms (with examples) Innovative, creative and entrepreneurial mindset - with a hunger to break the internet Strong written communication and accuracy, with a keen editorial sense Experience building and nurturing online communities Confidence in presenting a strategic vision that influences key decision-makers Experience shooting, editing and filming Experience in agency management Strong analytics and reporting skills Determination to experiment and try new things before anyone else
