We are looking for aSocial Media and Marketing Coordinator to join our team, this role will be supporting, developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns that elevate our brand and drive customer engagement.

The Institution of Engineering and Technology is a multidisciplinary professional engineering institution. The IET was formed in 2006 from two separate institutions: the Institution of Electrical Engineers, dating back to 1871, and the Institution of Incorporated Engineers dating back to 1884.

Role purpose

As aSocial Media and Marketing Coordinator for Searcys you will be a proud brand guardian of Searcys and its partnered venues by adhering to the relevant brand standards and always ensuring the highest standard of service and execution..

Salary and hours

Salary: £18 per hour

Working hours: 1 day per week, day agreed weekly to meet business needs and events

Hours on Contract: 8 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Manage social media channels, creating compelling content that reflects our luxury brand identity.
  • Collaborate with PR agencies and influencers to drive high-profile coverage.
  • Plan and execute events, partnerships, and promotional campaigns.
  • Analyse marketing performance and provide insights to optimise future campaigns.
  • Work closely with the design and digital teams to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and influencer partnerships.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail and luxury branding.
  • A proactive, creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure campaign effectiveness.
