The Shopper Marketing Manager - eCommerce The Shopper Marketing Manager - eCommerce, will play a central role in delivering our FMCG Brand's commercial plans. You will be part of an integrated Pureplay/D2C commercial team that works together to deliver commercial targets. We are looking for an eCommerce expert to build and deliver plans working with a cross‑functional team. You’ll be accountable for building and engaging teams to drive demand off‑site, working with marketing and performance teams. Additionally, you’ll ensure we have a strong plan on ratings and reviews, capturing and leveraging customer feedback to strengthen conversion and address any issues in our proposition. Key Responsibilities:
Build demand‑generating plans off‑site for key events and NPD, bringing together teams from across the business to deliver one integrated plan. Lead the process to ensure the perfect launch of new SKUs and execution of key commercial events, working with creative, marketing, trading, and paid media teams to deliver against — and ideally ahead of — business case expectations. Integrate commercial, creative, and marketing team requirements to deliver optimised PDPs and content experiences tailored for eCommerce. Monitor competitive performance and industry best practices across Pureplay and D2C environments, keeping internal teams up to speed with the latest trends. Support in digital advertising execution; while not directly accountable, you will work closely with paid media teams to ensure plans are integrated and commercially aligned. Lead the strategy and execution for ratings / reviews, ensuring the brand has the strongest possible presence. This includes hands‑on delivery and collaboration with the brand team to drive impactful consumer engagement. Support A/B testing on‑site to optimise merchandising and improve conversion rates. Feed commercial priorities into social and CRM calendars, ensuring alignment with performance and growth objectives.
Requirements:
At least 5 years’ experience working in an eCommerce role within a Pureplay or D2C environment, ideally with experience on a major digital marketplace. Experience in shopper / trade marketing is key with ideally exposure to Amazon; Proven track record in setting and delivering performance plans, with the ability to optimise using data and insights. Strong operational discipline and ability to manage complex projects across multiple stakeholders. Entrepreneurial spirit and hands‑on mentality; a motivated self‑starter. Critical and strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving skills. Experience in FMCG, Retail / D2C environments or hands on marketing agencies is likely to be the most ideal background;
