Driving operational excellence across the department you will ensuring the foundational elements are in place to optimise marketing output and effectiveness. Our aim is to enable the department to do the best work and deliver on our commercial commitments. Key to our success is driving the transformation of our reporting process and embedding clear and consistent department processes and governance.Main ResponsibilitiesDeliver a reporting framework that supports our teams to make informed growth decisions through timely and accurate reporting of Marketing’s financial contribution to the businessManage the production and reviews of daily, monthly and quarterly reporting, whilst also creating, embedding and maintaining a strong robust control frameworkOn hand to provide our Senior Management with an overview of latest positions/data clarification when required for the wider businessBuild out campaign reporting and support effective event reportingProcess improvements including data governance and consistence practices - helping to advise on solutions where gaps are identifiedKeep internal stakeholders aware of ongoing workloads and fixes/builds – able to interpret Marketing Department challenges and provide workable solutionsAd-hoc training/guidance with marketing/other teams on how to interpret the data and use various data analytics toolsWork with various stakeholders and developers to improve current reporting mechanism with aggregation of various data points into one seamless data visualisation toolQualificationsAbout YouSignificant experience of Salesforce and reporting practices is essentialAdvanced Excel skills preferredKnowledge of standard accounting practices and revenue reporting advantageousPowerBi visualisation and Pardot experience an advantageDetail orientated and results focusedGood judgement, analytical and decision-making attributesCompetence and aptitude in being able to handle complex and varied workloadsAble to advocate best practice and complianceWilling to challenge existing processes and pragmatic in providing advice aimed to resolve non-compliances identifiedStrong communication and relationship building skills, with an ability to communicate across a range of stakeholders whilst avoiding technical jargonStrong planning skills, with an ability to prioritise own workload to meet agreed deadlinesHigh degree of accuracy, combining attention to detail and an inquisitive approachExpectationsWe are a hybrid working company and the successful applicant will be expected to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment, but this may be subject to change in the future.While this is expected to be a full-time role, part-time or flexible working arrangements will be considered.Due to the global nature of the team, a degree of flexible working will be required to accommodate different time zones.#LI-AP2Additional Information“Wood Mackenzie is a place where we are committed to supporting our people to grow and thrive.
