Responsibilities

• Produce high-performing, impactful content for paid and organic social media channels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Snap) that drive conversions and growth
• Understand each platform’s audience, algorithm, and trends
• Create attention-grabbing, scroll-stopping hooks
• Convey a compelling message in under 12 seconds that aligns with Breakroom’s brand voice and style
• Use data from the Breakroom Quiz to inform creative social media content
• Communicate effectively with a Gen Z audience
• Have an intimate understanding of UK culture, trends, and humour
• Own the complete content creation process from scripting and shooting to editing, posting, and engagement
• Maintain acute attention to detail to iterate on creatives rapidly
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills to manage multiple videos efficiently
• Use data and intuition to inform creative strategies and optimize performance
• Monitor local and national news for relevance
• Occasional UK travel to film at partner locations
• Be creative, ideas-driven, highly collaborative, and able to work effectively with remote teams
• Mentor and coach junior colleagues
• Contribute to weekly and monthly reports

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a startup/scaleup/corporate environment
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to show your face on Breakroom’s social media channels
• Excellent video editing skills
• Organised and methodical to produce high volumes of content
• Ability to accept continuous feedback
• Willingness to work from Breakroom’s London office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Desirable

• Experience with social media growth drivers
• Understanding of data and how to use it to influence content creation
• Experience producing content for social media ads
• Strong appreciation of frontline work and the challenges workers face
• Experience producing content for a youth audience
