Senior Marketing Manager, Events and Sponsorships

Overview
and Sponsorship role. You will be responsible for leading the design and execution of our global calendar of flagship events, client forums, sponsorship activations, and partnerships that promote our brand and market presence, showcase our expertise and build trusted relationships with our clients and industry partners.
What you'll do
- You\'ll develop and lead our global events and sponsorship strategy, maintaining an annual calendar and coordinating with regional teams to deliver a cohesive Group-wide program
- You\'ll manage the central execution of high-profile events such as IQ-EQ Crossroads, client roundtables, and executive dinners, along with major industry sponsorship activations
- You\'ll collaborate with regional marketing teams to localize and implement global initiatives, ensuring impactful delivery across all regions
- You\'ll oversee external agencies, venues, and production partners to ensure world-class event execution, while mentoring a small team to deliver innovative, best-in-class experiences
- You\'ll track event performance and sponsorship ROI using data, client feedback, and lead generation metrics, while sharing your expertise to build Group-wide knowledge
- You bring over 10 years of B2B events and sponsorship experience, ideally within financial or professional services, with a proven ability to design and deliver large-scale global events and C-suite programs
- You are a creative and strategic thinker with a "can-do" attitude, constantly seeking fresh ideas to craft distinctive and memorable client experiences
- You excel at managing agencies, budgets, and teams under pressure, ensuring flawless execution while linking events and sponsorships to tangible business outcomes
- You confidently engage with internal and external stakeholders, influencing with a global mindset and delivering best-in-class initiatives across multiple markets
- You are a pragmatic, friendly team player with a sense of fun, capable of mentoring others and fostering collaboration across regions.
Qualifications
- Over 10 years of B2B events and sponsorship experience, ideally within financial or professional services
- Proven ability to design and deliver large-scale global events and C-suite programs
- Creative and strategic thinker with a can-do attitude
- Experience managing agencies, budgets, and teams under pressure
- Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders with a global mindset
- Mentoring and collaboration skills across regions
