Overview
We’re looking for a strategic and creative Senior Marketing Manager with strong content expertise to lead and execute multi-channel marketing initiatives that support acquisition, brand growth, and lead generation. This role is ideal for a results-driven marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for campaign planning, storytelling and performance tracking. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) in our Head Office in Abingdon, Oxon.
Key Accountability & Responsibilities
- Campaign management: lead end-to-end multi-channel marketing campaigns across direct mail, paid social, email and other channels; plan, execute with external agencies, and deliver campaigns on time.
- Opportunity to gain experience in TV and radio advertising creative and media planning.
- Enhance direct mail effectiveness through creative and targeting improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Sales, Legal) and external London agencies to develop effective campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust tactics based on data and insights.
Content strategy and development
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business goals and audience needs.
- Plan, create, and manage a content calendar across platforms (website, blog, email, social media, etc.).
- Oversee the production of high-quality content, including articles, case studies, videos, and infographics, ensuring a consistent brand voice.
- Coordinate with designers, freelancers and subject matter experts to bring content ideas to life.
Team and stakeholder collaboration
- Act as a liaison with external agencies (creative, print/post, media) and internal stakeholders (digital team, sales, legal, product).
- Collaborate with designers, freelancers, and subject matter experts to execute content ideas.
Data collection, analysis and reporting
- Track key performance indicators for content and campaigns (e.g. direct mail, social media, email).
- Provide regular reporting on campaign effectiveness to key stakeholders.
Project and budget management
- Lead end-to-end delivery of marketing projects and campaigns, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.
- Define timelines, milestones and deliverables for each project.
Knowledge & Skills
- Significant B2C marketing experience.
- Proven experience developing and managing content across multiple channels—online and offline.
- Demonstrable experience planning and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Analytical thinker with ability to analyse data and insights to inform decisions.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with Salesforce (desirable but not essential).
