OverviewHelp us shape the future of AI-driven marketing at Sage. As Sr Manager of Marketing Data, you’ll sit at the heart of a collaborative, forward-thinking team that’s driving innovation across data, segmentation, and automation. This is a strategic role focused on reimagining how marketing intelligence is created, consumed, and evolved. You will be instrumental in designing our analytics workflow to enable agentic AI and ML, unlocking new possibilities for insight generation, decision-making, and performance optimisation.LocationHybrid, 3 days per week out of our London, Winnersh or Newcastle office.ResponsibilitiesManage a team of BI developers to deliver data to maintain / extend Power BI dashboards that deliver actionable insights to stakeholders across Marketing, while envisioning and creating new self-service insights through AI platforms.Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, IT and GTM to develop segmentation strategies across platforms (CRM, CDP, etc.), defining segments using demographics, behavioural data, industry attributes, TAM lists, and predictive models. Oversee an off-shore team of BI developers at our agency partner to deliver this customer segmentation for campaigns.Redesign and scale our BI and segmentation capabilities, enabling marketing teams to make faster, more personalised decisions with AI-powered insights.Integrate agentic AI and machine learning into reporting, forecasting, and segmentation workflows.Ensure Sage’s marketing data pipelines are fast, reliable, and built to support real-time decision-making across multiple teams, including revisioning ETL flows and semantic layers using Snowflake, DBT, Segment, and AWS technologies.Ensure data quality and governance.Oversee data cleansing, deduplication, and enrichment processes to maintain accuracy and reliability.Implement archiving and deletion policies in compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations.Manage a team of junior and senior developers, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning.Work with third-party vendors to evaluate and implement data technologies that support Sage’s marketing goals.Skills & ExperienceStrong proficiency in data transformation and modelling techniques using tools such as Snowflake, dbt, and SQL.Experience with business intelligence and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Microsoft Fabric), including semantic modelling.Familiarity with version control and collaborative development workflows (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).Understanding of workflow automation and low-code platforms (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar).Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to lead a team through change, coaching technical people to learn new skill sets and develop their careers.Solid foundation in ETL processes, data warehousing, and CRM integration.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives.Your benefits (Only Applicable for UK Based Roles)Benefits video – https://youtu.be/TCMtTYUUiuUWork away scheme for up to 10 weeks a yearOn-going training and professional developmentPaid 5 days yearly to volunteer through our Sage FoundationFlexible work patterns and hybrid working #J-18808-Ljbffr
