This role carries a high degree of autonomy and involves operating with partner level stakeholders – it is very much a ‘trusted advisor’ role and the partners look to this team for ideas, strategic input, a dynamic approach, and informed views, as well as effective multi-channel BD support for collaboration with sector colleagues. The Property Group has recently benefitted from dedicated resource and therefore this presents an opportunity to shape the group’s strategy alongside the Business Development Manager. This role will be based out of our central London office and our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however as an inclusive employer, we are willing to consider any flexible working requests.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Property team with Development & Investment, Planning & Environment and Property Dispute Resolution priorities.Operate with partner level stakeholders as a trusted advisor, providing ideas, strategic input, and a dynamic approach.Provide effective multi-channel business development support for collaboration with sector colleagues.Contribute to shaping the group’s strategy alongside the Business Development Manager.Take ownership of a complex and varied workload, staying up to date with news and trends and adopting new technologies.Lead content creation for outputs such as capability documents, client brochures, pitches, thought leadership campaigns, and social media content; act as the creative/design lead for these materials.QualificationsProven experience at a Senior Marketing and BD level, or exceptional quality at an executive level, ideally within the legal industry or similar partnership environmentsExperience in property would be highly advantageousAbility to lead on content creation across multiple outputs and channelsExperience as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders such as Partners, with the ability to challenge where necessaryExperience managing sector-specific trade memberships to maximise opportunitiesComfortable working across strategic to administrative levelsExperience with Award and Directory submissions would be idealAbility to take genuine ownership with minimal supervision and manage a complex workload; proactive with new technology adoption (e.g., Copilot for research and document creation)What happens next?Once your application has been submitted and reviewed, our Recruitment team will share the outcome with you by email.We typically hold two interview stages per vacancy, with opportunities to meet two members of the hiring team at each stage.
