Our people are our success, and we work as one team. We are recruiting two Senior Marketing and Business Development Executives to join our Business Development and Marketing group.

One role will support our Public and Professional Services (PPS) team, looking at clients across the professional services, public sector, business services, and high net worth markets. The other role will be part of our Commercial and Employment teams, who advise on all aspects of the contract life cycle for clients across all our global sectors, with expertise in employment and reward.

These roles carry a high degree of autonomy and involve operating with partner-level stakeholders. It is a trusted-advisor role and the partners look to this team for ideas, strategic input, a dynamic approach, informed views, and effective multi-channel BD support for collaboration with sector colleagues.

This role can be based out of our Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh or Belfast office. Our standard working hours are 9:30am-5:30pm; flexible working requests will be considered.

Candidate Overview

We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience at a Senior Marketing and BD level, or exceptional quality at an exec level, ideally within the legal industry or similar partnership environments
  • Able to lead on content creation for outputs including capability documents, client brochures, pitches, thought leadership campaigns and various social media channels
  • Evidence of working as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders such as Partners, providing advice and guidance and able to challenge where necessary
  • Experience in managing sector-specific trade memberships to maximise opportunities
  • Comfortable working across strategic to administrative levels
  • Ability to take genuine ownership of the role with minimal supervision, managing a complex and varied workload, staying up to date with news and trends, and adopting new technology (e.g., Copilot for research and document creation)
